TDAC'S Glad Party!

This month I was also working on my submission for TDAC's Glad party and I enjoyed working on the recipes! I had some great help from our local chef Jasna who is the head chef over at Velo Caffe restaurant and she does some mean stuff overthere! :) So thank you Jasna once again, you rock! :) Here's my work:

FINAL EPICASE RESULTS!!!

Hello all my wonderful friends and bloggers!

I'm so happy to announce that my Hansel & Gretel illustration came 3rd in the 3rd Epicase Competition! My heartfelt congrats to the winner from Russia, indeed an amazing and complicated work-well done! I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to win (I believe we all did who entered top 10) which is natural and good, but I'm not dissapointed at all. Very, very happy 'cos my illustration has now become a part of their retail art collection and you'll be able to purchase their products with my illo on it! How awesome and cool is that?! :)
When I reflect on how I've entered and expected really nothing out of it, and then to enter top 10 out of 1,214 works from all over the world, and now my work came 3rd-yeyieeee!!! Is all I can say and shout :)
Thank you all again for your precious votes and cheereing me on-truly means the world to me!

I'm sending you all warm hugs and kisses!

Epicase competition results! :)

I have received such uplifting and amazing news today. I have entered a competition by Epicase a couple of months back with one of my illo's, after my dear friend Ni suggested I should try and enter. Today I got an email saying that amongst 1,214 works from all over the world mine entered the top 10-WOW!!!! :) Woooooohooooooooo! Can you tell how excited I am?! So the facebook fan poll starts today and I will shamefully ask for all of you my dear friends to help me out and vote for my illustration on their fan poll wall. The voting starts from 5pm and will last for a couple of days I think, till the 28th. Multiple choices are allowed as well. I'm not sure yet how many times you get to vote, I asked them this question so will let you know.

I would love to at least enter the top 5 since my work would enter their collection then and would sell in their stores! :) Pls don't forget to pop over to their fb page HERE and vote!!!!

Thank you all and wish me good luck! :)

Poster for 10.Hand Made Fest in Pula, Cro

Hiya guys!

I have been neglecting my blog for far too long...but that only means I'm busy, busy :)
Well finished one thing and straight on to the other...but I'm happy when I'm having loads of work and having great fun along. So there is a competition going on here on designing a poster and later all that follows (banners, flyers...etc) for our biggest Hand Made Festival which is growing bigger and bigger every year and is now nationally well reckognized as one of the most imaginative & creative one. I have decided to participate this year and the call was for all types of artists to participate and create something unique for this year. Well this is my entry! It's an octopus who herself is handmade but she's also a great help while she's being made-multifunctional :))
In my opinion creations should fulfill not the decorative part alone but the functional one as well...and there are so many creative ideas and creations out there I thought I should make a virtual one too :)) What better that an octopus who is multitasking with her super 8 tentacles! Lol

I have to run with my other errands but I really hope you enjoy my poster ilustration :)

Cheers!

At last, my secret revealed...the piece I did and was showing bits of it here on my blog was a design for Tigerprint's Special Relationship Card Competition. The purpose was to show the thought and to reflect on the special relationship one has with a special person, so  I have chosen to design and illustrate a card for my sister :D You can go here and check the competition up and view all other entries including mine :D
I really hope you all like it, cos my sister loves it :D Yippie :D
