Ok, so most of you already know I've been working on my 2012 Calendar project and my main character is my little monster friend whom I've decided to name Bobo :D He has deviated from the original sketch but in some cases, just because something looks great on a sketch doesn't necessary look great in colour...He might even end up somewhat different by the time I'm done with the whole project but for now I have decided to share this little illo of him as he is :D
Do not pay attention to the fact there's no background, this is not a finished illo, this is just a sample of my Bobo the monster :D

ReplyDeleteBobo is just simply ADORABLE!!!! I love its' big belly,and 3 eyes,and teeth. The post is just simply cute and whimsical. I love your color combination. It fits Bobo well. I wonder where you got the inspiration of the post from(your lovely daughter? ^_____^) Bobo is kind of reminding me that I need to go back and draw my little dragons again! I have been really bad lately...I even have my little dragons on my sketchbook with sign that's said "We miss you!" So, you know how long that I haven't drew them....my bad! Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing more of Bobo and your 2012 calender!!!! ^__________^

ReplyDeleteYes, my daughter's fave movie is Monsters inc. and I love it too...I have loved drawing mosters since I was little 'cos they've never really been scary to me, rather some cute furball friends I held as a secret :D lol I'm sure you'll get arround to ur little dragons soon, don't be sad! We all make our priorities first, and for now that's your card design, so cut urself some slack :D
